Monica Peterson is the consummate HR and Recruiting professional. Her aptitude for results is tempered by a solid understanding of business acumen and principles developed from her experience having a “seat at the strategic table” in multiple companies—an insight rare in the HR field, where many other professionals fail to grasp the nature of the businesses they support.

 

Most recently, Monica ledHR efforts at a digital pharmacy startup (a rapidly scaling Telehealth company) based out of New York City—where she oversaw growth from a handful of founders to over 500 employees in multiple time zones. Monica began with zero resources and funding during her time, swiftly building out an expansive department encompassing strategic and compliance functions that enabled the company to scale faster than any benchmarked averages while maintaining a nearly invisible footprint on the company’s finances. 

Today, Monica leverages the experience and resources that she’s gained to give back, providing strategic consultative support to start-ups and other smaller companies in need of guidance with hiring and other people operations process setups.
